My name is Iain Grindlay, and I am the chief guide and owner of Distinctly Scotland, and I welcome you!

I was born and bred in this unique country, and my hope is that I will have the opportunity to share my enthusiasm for Scotland and its breathtaking beauty, by taking you on one of my tours!

I have spent a large part of my life flying helicopters around Scotland in my own helicopter company, and in the process, have accumulated a great deal of knowledge of the landscape, history and people of this surprisingly diverse country.

Since retiring from flying, I have created bespoke private driving tours, and this site represents the culmination of all that I have learned over the years, and have distilled into the selected tours I present to you here.
